The building, where renovation works took place, dates from the middle 1930 ties. The client intended to get a large apartmant out of existing two flats situated on the same floor.

The need for a larger space suggested opening of the floor with a minimum amount of vertical berriers. So the main principle of the renovation became – to the bone - the radical reduction of spatial elements such as walls, doors and furniture.

A new organizational plan followed primary logic in installation distribution, therefore most of  »wet« areas were concentrated in two groups around the entrances where they used to be, but this time according to the new spatial scenographies. The rest of the apartment was divided in a day area on the right (dining room, living room and saloon) and to a night area on the left (master bedroom and guest room). A kitchen and a guest toilet belong to the »wet-day« area, a bathroom and a toilet to the »wet-night« area.

Wet areas are also distinctive in the usage of the materials. The floor, ceiling and wall surfaces are treated with same material, with a golden waterproof wallpaper protected by the epoxy film. Other parts of the apartment are left more neutral and retained using natural materials mostly. The borders between wet and dry ambiences are designed as golden curtains, soft and adjustable so the bedroom space can become one area with the bathroom, while the dining room can »pour«  into the kitchen.
